"囧" is pronounced as "jiong" on the Third tune in Chinese (Mandarin)


It's not used in official language, in fact it's one of the many rare character in dictionaries...


"囧" is usually used to described people's expressions as:


confused/annoyed/embarrassed in some ridiculous/awkward/funny/weird sitiuation


and in fact, "囧" does look like a person's face with the funny expression described above, lol
